Masterfeeds University

As the Canadian livestock industry changes, there has been a shift from many, smaller farm businesses to fewer, larger operations.  As a result, competition for customers will intensify in the years to come.  This will put a premium on sales and marketing skills and strategies designed to target larger customers.  Understanding customer needs and how to create value at the farm level will become critical success factors.  Masterfeeds University has been designed to develop sales and marketing skills to deal with the emerging issues in the livestock industry and ensure that both Masterfeeds and their dealers continue to thrive and grow.

Masterfeeds University consists of two certificate programs:  The Professional Sales Certificate and the Certificate in Agri Marketing.

Professional Sales Certificate

To earn the Professional Sales Certificate requires successful completion of a three course program designed to develop superior selling skills.  These courses focus on finding good prospects, understanding the needs of these prospects and converting these prospects to customers by creating and delivering superior value.  Upon successful completion of these courses, participants are eligible to receive the Professional Sales Certificate from the Canadian Professional Sales Certificate.  Click here for more information

Certificate in Agri Marketing

To earn the Certificate in Agri Marketing also requires the successful completion of a three course program.  These courses focus on selecting high priority targets and developing product, price, distribution and promotional strategies to meet the needs of these targets.  Upon successful completion of these courses, participants are eligible to receive the Certificate in Agri Marketing from the Canadian Agri Marketing Association.  Click here for more information
